SUBSCRIPTION TERMS AND AUTO-RENEWAL POLICY

  1. OVERVIEW

The Nook and Lantern offers subscription-based products including but not limited to coffee, tea, candles, book-related packages, and curated lifestyle or themed subscription boxes.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms in addition to our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

  1. AUTO-RENEWAL AUTHORIZATION

All subscriptions are offered on a recurring basis unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

By enrolling in a subscription, you authorize The Nook and Lantern to automatically charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis according to your chosen subscription plan.

  1. BILLING CYCLES

Subscription billing may occur on a monthly, quarterly, or other recurring schedule as specified at checkout.

Billing occurs in advance of shipment unless otherwise stated.

If a payment fails, The Nook and Lantern may attempt to reprocess the charge or suspend fulfillment until payment is successfully completed.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time by submitting a cancellation request to:

Cancellation requests must be submitted prior to the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the next period.

All cancellations are only effective upon written confirmation from The Nook and Lantern.

  1. NO REFUNDS FOR PARTIAL PERIODS

Except where required by law, The Nook and Lantern does not provide refunds or prorated refunds for:

• Partial subscription periods
• Missed cancellation deadlines
• Unused subscription shipments
• Customer failure to cancel properly

Once a billing cycle has been processed, that cycle is considered fully earned.

  1. PROCESSING AND FULFILLMENT

Subscription items may be:

• Hand-packed or curated in-house
• Fulfilled by third-party vendors
• Drop-shipped or white-labeled
• Sourced from seasonal or limited inventory

Because of this, fulfillment timing and product variation may occur between billing cycles.

  1. THIRD-PARTY FULFILLMENT

Some subscription items may be fulfilled by third-party partners.

To complete fulfillment, necessary customer information may be shared with vendors, including:

• Name
• Shipping address
• Contact information
• Order details

Third-party fulfillment providers are not controlled by The Nook and Lantern, but are required to use customer data solely for fulfillment purposes.

  1. CHANGES TO SUBSCRIPTION OFFERINGS

The Nook and Lantern reserves the right to:

• Modify subscription contents
• Replace items with similar-value alternatives
• Adjust pricing with notice
• Discontinue subscription offerings
• Update shipping schedules or product sourcing

Where reasonably possible, customers will be notified of material changes.

  1. PAUSE OR SKIP OPTIONS

If available, subscription pause or skip options may be offered at The Nook and Lantern’s discretion.

Availability of these features is not guaranteed and may vary depending on subscription type.

  1. FAILED PAYMENTS

If a subscription payment fails:

• We may retry payment automatically
• We may notify the customer via email
• Subscription fulfillment may be paused until payment is resolved

Repeated payment failures may result in subscription cancellation.

  1. FRAUD AND ABUSE

The Nook and Lantern reserves the right to suspend or terminate subscriptions suspected of fraud, abuse, chargeback activity, or violation of our Terms of Service.

  1. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

• Maintain accurate billing and shipping information
• Ensure payment methods remain valid
• Cancel subscriptions in accordance with this policy
• Monitor billing dates to avoid unintended charges
